Ultra Valves manufactures control valves and pressure-reducing systems for some of the toughest industrial environments in mining, water and slurry handling. Over more than a decade, we helped build the brand from the ground up. from the original identity and logo system to brochures, print advertising, web collateral and a fully animated 3D product explainer designed to make complex engineering easier to understand.

We developed the Ultra Valves identity around a simple visual idea: flow, control and directional change expressed through a stylised pipe form. Built within a square and using quarter-turn curves, the symbol has a clean, engineered geometry that reflects the world it comes from. The central cross suggests flow paths and control points, while Gotham keeps the overall identity modern, legible and stripped of unnecessary complexity.

The mark was designed to work hard in the real world. Its compact square construction makes it easy to apply across brochures, print ads and web banners, but also on hard hats, valve bodies and pressure-control systems in the field. It works equally well as a brand symbol and as a practical industrial mark.

From there, the work extended across brochures, catalogues, print advertising, exhibition material and digital sales collateral. The aim was always the same: to present highly technical products with clarity, structure and commercial confidence.

Whether communicating pressure-reducing stations, slurry valves or high-pressure control systems, the visual language had to feel engineered rather than decorative. clear enough for procurement teams and operators, but credible to engineers.

One of the most substantial outputs was a fully animated 3D explainer video showing the inner workings of the valve system. Produced before AI-assisted workflows became commonplace, the animation was built from technical drawings and modelled from scratch in 3D, then paired with voiceover to explain the product in a way that static diagrams never could. It gave Ultra a practical sales and education tool for customers, engineers and decision-makers alike.

The result is a long-term industrial brand system built to work in the real world. The identity holds up across physical products, technical communication and digital media, while the animation and literature help turn specialist engineering into something clearer, more visible and easier to understand.
